I'm so grateful that I got the chance to talk to you, I think that helped me set my mind into a way of knowing what I should do and what not to. And your lesson about how feeling sad or angry is not a bad thing or something that it should be "fixed" but rather just be aware was an eye-opening knowledge to me.
Oh my gosh, Sara is such an excellent coach!
She has helped me with so many issues over the last 7 months. It’s amazing how much better I feel! It blows me away every time how every time I work with Sara, she sees things that I did not see it all! Thank you so much Sara!

Can You Lose Weight After 50?
This is a question that many women ask because they are genuinely unsure if it is even possible.
Five years ago, I discovered for myself that the answer was a great big YES!
At the age of 52, I found myself with the cutest body I had ever had. For the first time in my adult life, I was wearing shorts and dresses and loving how I looked.
Previously to losing my weight, I had been eating healthy, but I was still about a size 14. I was at peace with that since I had been that size for many years.
Then in 2015, I went from a size 14 to a size 6.
I wanted to sustain some of it, so I decided to really understand why I had been able to lose weight finally.
I identified three things at that time.
- I was eating lightly in the evening.
- I was walking daily.
- I wasn’t snacking or eating after dinner.
Using these guidelines, I was able to continue eating nutritious foods and also maintain most of my weight loss. Since I had gotten a little too thin, I gained a little weight and my size settled in to around a size 8 – 10.
Because eating and weight are more than just how you look, I dived deep into current research on diet, nutrition, fat, and weight loss. I didn’t want to substitute being thin for being healthy.
Being healthy and feeling great are our goals here.
