Don’t quit! You have a great blog. I found myself wanting to keep reading–instead of working!

In blogging time, a year isn’t all that long. I’m almost four years in and it’s finally coming together for me financially. I’m slow though and I worked a job too. The widget I use, is in the appearance section of wordpress–no plug-in required. Feel free to email me (it’s on the about page) and I’ll tell you a couple of things I think could help.

It’s expensive and although I enjoy it I’d like to break even. Some of my problem is with blogging terminology. For example, I love your widget with your most popular blogs but I don’t know what it is called so I can find a plugin to do that. I give away some stuff but I don’t know how to set it up so that people only get the free stuff if they subscribe. Complaining yes. Sorry. I do enjoy your grandmothering posts.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I’m getting ready to delegate Facebook again for a while or recommit to it. But to me, hiring out pieces at times is just as or more valuable than another class!

I was struggling with writing blog posts not too long ago and I couldn’t work out why. I still loved everything about my blog, blogging, writing but I just couldn’t write. Then I realised that when I’d started blogging I’d really gone all in. I had a blog, and a Facebook page, and mailing list content to write, and Pinterest graphics to make. I’d done it all at once and never been able to focus just on making content before then. So I hired someone to manage Pinterest and Twitter for the month for me and it’s been amazing! You’re so right about delegating stuff that really is just stuff in your way.
